Terms of sale

Who publishes Kroov, how we process your data, and the terms that apply to the service and your payments.

Version of 23 October 2026

Purpose and scope

These terms of sale govern the sale of Kroov subscription plans and credit packs by EVA AI TECHNOLOGIES, a SAS with a share capital of 1 000 €, SIREN 102 405 768 (RCS Strasbourg), 5 rue Ellenhard, 67000 Strasbourg, France, VAT FR80102405768 ("Kroov"), to any customer, business or consumer. They complement the terms of use. The customer accepts them when creating an account and at each payment.

Rules specific to consumers (individuals acting outside their trade or profession) are marked as such. The personal data processing agreement is annexed ("Data processing" tab). The French version of these terms prevails.

Plans and prices

Prices are in euros, including VAT.

  • Free: 500 credits granted once, after email verification; 1 seat; no payment.
  • Essential: €19 incl. VAT per month or €190 incl. VAT per year; 5,000 credits per month; 1 seat.
  • Pro: €69 incl. VAT per month or €690 incl. VAT per year; 20,000 credits per month; 5 seats.

The features of each plan are detailed on the Pricing page. The price of a running subscription only changes at a new period, after notice to the customer at least 30 days before; a customer who refuses the new price may cancel before that date.

VAT

Prices including VAT include French VAT at the current rate (20%). VAT is calculated at payment from the billing address. A business established in another European Union country that provides a valid EU VAT number is invoiced without VAT, the tax being due by it (reverse charge, article 196 of Directive 2006/112/EC); it pays the same amount, excluding VAT. Outside the European Union, no French VAT is charged; any local taxes are borne by the customer.

Credits

Each production (post, image, video, call minute…) consumes a number of credits set by the price list shown in the application before it is launched. Credits are reserved at launch and only debited for what is delivered; a production that does not complete releases its reservation.

  • Credits of a paid plan are granted at the start of each subscription month, including for an annual plan.
  • Credit packs are reserved for paid plans: 2,500 credits for €10 incl. VAT, 10,000 credits for €38 incl. VAT, 25,000 credits for €90 incl. VAT.
  • Credits remain on the workspace balance as long as the account exists, including after a subscription ends. They are lost when the workspace is deleted.
  • Credits have no monetary value: they are not refundable, convertible into money or transferable to another workspace, except where the law requires it (right of withdrawal, lack of conformity).

Automatic top-up

The owner of a workspace on a paid plan may enable automatic top-up: when the balance falls below the threshold they chose, the pack they chose is bought with the saved card, within the number of top-ups per month they set. Each top-up comes with an invoice. A declined payment disables automatic top-up. It can be disabled at any time in Settings > Billing.

Payment and invoices

Payment is made by card, through Stripe; Kroov neither sees nor stores the card number. The card is saved for renewals and, if enabled, for automatic top-up.

  • A subscription is paid in advance, at the start of each period (month or year).
  • Moving to a higher plan with the same billing period takes effect immediately; the difference, prorated over the remaining period, is invoiced at once.
  • Moving to a lower plan or another billing period takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • Every payment comes with an invoice, sent by email and available in Settings > Billing and in the Stripe customer portal.

If a payment fails, Stripe tries again; until the payment is settled, paid features may be suspended. For a business customer, any late payment incurs penalties at three times the French legal interest rate and a fixed €40 recovery fee.

Term, renewal and cancellation

A subscription is taken out for one month or one year and renews automatically for the same period. The customer may cancel it at any time, online, from Settings > Billing > Manage subscription: cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, until which access is maintained. Amounts paid for the current period are not refunded, except when the right of withdrawal is exercised or the law requires it.

For a consumer's annual subscription, Kroov informs them by email of the option not to renew the contract, no earlier than three months and no later than one month before its end (article L215-1 of the French Consumer Code).

Right of withdrawal (consumers)

A consumer has fourteen days from taking out a subscription or buying a pack to withdraw, without giving any reason.

  • Subscription: by paying, the consumer expressly asks for the service to start immediately, without waiting for the end of the period. If they then withdraw, they are refunded the price paid, minus an amount proportional to the service provided until they communicated their decision (article L221-25 of the French Consumer Code).
  • Credit pack: credits are supplied as soon as payment is made. By ticking the box provided before paying, the consumer requests this immediate supply and acknowledges losing their right of withdrawal once the credits are added (article L221-28, 13°). This request is restated on the invoice.

To withdraw, the consumer writes to support@kroov.ai, using the form below or any unambiguous statement. Kroov acknowledges receipt without delay and refunds, through the same payment method, no later than fourteen days after receiving the decision.

Withdrawal form (complete and return only if you wish to withdraw):

  • To EVA AI TECHNOLOGIES, 5 rue Ellenhard, 67000 Strasbourg, France, support@kroov.ai:
  • I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for the provision of the following service:
  • Ordered on: …
  • Name of consumer: …
  • Email address of the Kroov account: …
  • Date and, if sent on paper, signature: …

Conformity guarantee (consumers)

Kroov is liable for any lack of conformity of the service appearing throughout its supply, under articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. The consumer is entitled to have the service brought into conformity; failing that, to a price reduction or to terminate the contract. AI-generated content, which varies by nature, is not in itself a lack of conformity as long as the service works as described.

Liability (business customers)

For a business customer, Kroov's liability is limited to direct damage and, in total, to the amounts paid by the customer in the twelve months before the event giving rise to it; Kroov is not liable for indirect damage. This limit does not apply in case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Complaints and mediation

For any complaint, write to support@kroov.ai; we answer within fifteen business days.

Governing law

These terms of sale are governed by French law. The date of their version appears at the top of the page; the applicable version is the one in force on the day of payment. Disputes with a business customer fall under the courts of Strasbourg; a consumer may refer, at their choice, to the court of their place of residence or any court provided for by law.
